3. VELEBIT MOUNTAIN OFF ROAD / JEEP SAFARI

Drive along the Zrmanja river (“Pueblo Plato”), the filming sight of the legendary Winnetou films. The films, including "Winnetou", "Winnetou and Shatterhand in the Valley of Death" and "Winnetou and his Friend Old Firehand" were only loosely based on May's stories, but they introduced him to a whole new generation of European fans. After taking photos and short presentation of the landscape where the Karl May film adaptations were taken, our next destination is the Nature Park Velebit. Velebit is the longest mountain of the Dinaric range. Tulove grede is a site where the rocks of magnificent shapes can be seen. You will have the opportunity to take photos of this beautiful landscape. After driving and walking through the beautiful nature we continue our adventure towards the river Zrmanja.
